Our social justice tradition stems from the Beatitudes. As we face the post-election call from many for healing in our country, “Blessed are the Peacemakers” rings out.
We can be peacemakers to those we encounter. We can make other people’s day a little brighter with a smile and a greeting (even though the smile is temporarily masked). If each of us does a little bit of healing each day, it will spread. The Social Justice and Community Building Committee is a great way to promote peace in our parish and community. Join us on zoom.
